Travis Kuualiialoha Browne Wiki Biography

Travis Kuualiialoha Browne, born on the 17th of July 1982, is an American mixed martial artist who gained fame as a competitor in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

So how much is Browne’s net worth? As of early 2018, based on authoritative sources it is reported to be $500,000 acquired from his years working as a professional fighter in the UFC since 2009.

Born in Oahu, Hawaii, Browne was not really into mixed martial arts when he was young – while attending San Dieguito Academy High School he actually fell in love with basketball, and continued playing the sport until he was at Palomar College; however, he only stayed for two years and then decided to drop out.

At the age of 26, Browne discovered Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and a year later he decided to fight professionally. In 2009, his MMA career started by competing in organizations including Bellator Fighting Championship, Gladiator Challenge, and King of the Cage. During his early years as a fighter, he defeated Evan Langford, Michael Westbrook, Matt Anderson and Brian Campbell, and then won the VFC Heavyweight Championship against Abe Wagner, and the interim Gladiator Challenge Heavyweight Championship against Aaron Brink. His early years as an MMA helped establish his career in the industry, and also his net worth.

In 2010, Browne signed with the UFC, and made his debut at The Ultimate Fighter: Team Liddell vs. Team Ortiz Finale. He was able to win his first match against James McSweeney.

As a UFC fighter, Browne has had a colourful career experiencing wins and losses. Some of the highlights include being awarded the Knockout of the Night for four times defeating Stefan Struve in 2011, Gabriel Gonzaga in April 2013, Alistair Overeem in August 2013, and Josh Barnett in December 2013. His success in the UFC also tremendously increased his wealth.

Of course Browne has also suffered a couple of losses – in 2016, he lost his match against Cain Velasquez and Fabricio Werdum, and in 2017 lost against Derrick Lewis and Oleksiy Oliynyk.

In terms of his personal life, Browne has married twice, firstly to Jenna Renne Webb in January 2015 and they had two sons together, Kaleo and Keawe. In July 2015, Webb posted photos on herself on her Instagram account with her body covered with bruises, pointing the finger at Browne. The domestic abuse issue caused Browne to be removed from UFC’s International Fight Week at that time, only for the reports to be found inconclusive. He was eventually reinstated in late August of 2015. The following year, his divorce wfrom Webb was finalized.

In 2015, Browne was also reported to have been dating fellow MMA and Women’s Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey. He later on proposed to Rousey under a waterfall in New Zealand and they married in August 2017 in Hawaii.
