Topher Grace Wiki Biography
Christopher John Grace, commonly known as Topher Grace, is a famous American voice actor, as well as an actor. To the public, Topher Grace is perhaps best known for playing the character of Eric Forman in a period sitcom called “That ‘70s Show”, which also featured Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, and Danny Masterson in the main roles. Over the eight season run, “That ‘70s Show” managed to maintain a high average of viewers, and became the second longest-running sitcom after “Married with Children”. The success of the series showed in numerous award nominations, including Primetime Emmy Awards, Teen Choice Awards, as well as Young Artist Awards.
More recently, Topher Grace returned to the limelight as the main antagonist in “Spider-Man 3” superhero film Eddie Brock, whose body was taken over by an alien symbiote named “Venom”. The “Spider-Man 3” film first aired in cinemas in 2007, as a sequel to the second “Spider-Man 2” movie. The cast in the third installment of the series included Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, and Bryce Dallas Howard among others. Upon its release, “Spider-Man 3” was largely criticized by many critics, who felt that the movie failed to develop a cohesive plot line and instead focused on introducing numerous characters from the comic books. Nevertheless, “Spider-Man 3” turned out to be Marvel’s third most commercially successful film, with more than $890 million grossed at the box office, which, undoubtedly contributed to the overall wealth of the cast members.
A well-known actor, how rich is Topher Grace? Sources state that Topher Grace’s net worth is estimated to be $10 million. Most of Topher Grace’s net worth and wealth comes from his acting career.
Topher Grace was born in 1978, in New York, United States, yet he spent most of his childhood in Connecticut. Topher Grace debuted on television screens in “That ‘70s Show”, where his portrayal of Eric Forman brought him a lot of public exposure. Following the success of his on-screen debut, Grace debuted on the big screen in Steven Soderbergh’s crime drama film called “Traffic”, where he starred alongside Don Cheadle, Benicio del Toro, and Michael Douglas. Grace returned to work with Soderbergh in 2001 and 2004, when he had minor roles in his heist films, entitled “Ocean’s Eleven” and “Ocean’s Twelve”. Even though Grace wished to reprise his role in “Ocean’s Thirteen”, his role in “Spider-Man 3” made his plans difficult to execute. After his performance in “Spider-Man 3”, Topher Grace received an opportunity to star in an action film with Adrien Brody, Danny Trejo and Alice Braga called “Predators”, which turned out to be a critical and commercial success. More recently, in 2014, Topher Grace played Adrian Yates in Nima Nourizadeh’s comedy film “American Ultra”, which included a cast of Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart and Connie Britton.
