Toni Michelle Braxton, commonly known as Toni Braxton, is a famous American record producer, television personality, actress, as well as a singer and songwriter. Toni Braxton rose to fame in 1993, when she released her debut album entitled “Toni Braxton”. Upon its release, the album peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200 music chart, and succeeded in selling more than 10 million copies. In addition to producing such hit singles as “Seven Whole Days”, “I Belong to You” and “Another Sad Love Song”, “Toni Braxton” earned three Grammy Awards among others. Since then, Braxton has released six studio albums, the most recent of which entitled “Pulse” came out in 2010. In 2014, she collaborated with Babyface to release her “Love, Marriage & Divorce” album, which peaked at #67 on the Billboard 200 chart. Aside from music, Braxton has been largely involved in the television industry, as she made an appearance on “Dancing with the Stars”, and later starred alongside Tamar Braxton and Traci Braxton in the reality television series entitled “Braxton Family Values”.

A well-known singer and reality television star, how rich is Toni Braxton? According to sources, in 2013 she earned $91,503 from her Summer Tour, while in 2014 her collaborative album “Love, Marriage & Divorce” earned her $125,000. In regards to her overall wealth, Toni Braxton’s net worth is estimated to be $11 million, most of which she has accumulated from her on screen appearances, as well as her singing career, but which could have been more. However, Braxton’s wealth decreased significantly when she admitted to having debts that amounted to over $50 million. As a result of that, Braxton lost the rights to many of her songs. Fortunately, many of her debts were cleared up by court.

Toni Braxton was born in 1967, in Maryland, United States, where she studied at Bowie State University. However, in order to focus on her singing career, Braxton decided to drop-out from university. Her first public appearance was as a part of the girl group called “The Braxtons”, where she sang together with Tamar, Trina, Traci and Towanda Braxton. After signing to “Arista Records”, the group released a single entitled “Good Life”, which caught the attention of record producers Babyface and L. A. Reid. Eventually, Toni Braxton signed a record deal with their “LaFace Records” studio, and in 1993 came out with her debut album entitled “Toni Braxton”. Following the success of her debut album, Braxton released her most successful studio work to date, under the name of “Secrets”. Up to date, the album has sold more than 15 million copies and earned Toni a Grammy Award for Best New Artist. In addition to that, the album was certified eight-time Platinum by the RIAA. Braxton supported the release of “Secrets” with a worldwide Secrets Tour.

In regards to her personal life, Toni Braxton has been married to “Mint Condition’s” keyboardist Keri Lewis since 2001. Together, the couple has two children, namely Denim Cole Braxton-Lewis, who was born in 2001, and Diezel Ky Braxton-Lewis born in 2003.
