Tim Hardaway was born on the 1st September 1966 in Chicago, Illinois USA, and is a former professional basketball player, who played in the NBA for five different teams. Hardaway recorded five All-Star appearances and made it into the All-NBA First Team in 1997. Now, he serves as the assistant coach for the Detroit Pistons. His playing career lasted from 1989 to 2003, while Hardaway started coaching career in 2005.

Together with Chris Mullin and Mitch Richmond, Hardaway formed “Run TMC” (Tim, Mitch, Chris), the trio that had an important role in the Western Conference in the early ‘90s. In his sophomore year, Tim started every game and averaged 22.9 points, 9.7 assists, and 2.6 steals in 39.2 minutes, numbers which earned him a place in the All-Star game for the first time in his career, an achievement that Hardaway would repeat in the following two years.
