Terri Lynn Sauson was born on the 5th August 1968, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and is a country musician, widely known in both Canada and the USA for her three times platinum rated eponymous studio album “Terri Clark” which hit the charts in 1995. Besides this, Terri Clark is noted for her hit singles “If I Were You”, “Emotional Girl”, “Poor Poor Pitiful Me” and “In My Next Life”, which all peaked at No. 1 on various music charts in Canada as well as in the States.

Have you ever wondered how much wealth this country music artist has accumulated so far? How rich Terri Clark is? According to sources, it is estimated that the total amount of Terri Clark’s net worth, as of early 2017, is over $10 million, acquired through her music career which now spans 23 years since her debut in 1994.

After matriculating from Crescent Heights High School in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Terri moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1987 in order to pursue her music career. She began circulating clubs before she settled as a regular performer at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge. She “caught the ear” of producer Keith Stegall, and in 1994 she signed a record deal with PolyGram/Mercury Records. In 1995, Terri released her debut single “Better Things to Do” which reached the top five immediately after hitting the charts. Following this success, later that year Terri Clark released her eponymous self-titled debut studio album which featured 12 songs, including several soon-to-become hit singles such as “If I Were You”, “When Boy Meets Girl” and “Suddenly Single”. In 1996, she was honored with the Album of the Year Award as the album achieved gold status, and in 1997 Platinum. This initial success provided the basis for Terri Clark’s net worth and helped her to establish herself as a prominent artist in the world of music.

On the wings of this success, Terri released her second studio album in 1996, named “Just the Same” which also achieved commercial success with its 11 song of which every single one reached the top 10 on various charts in both the USA and Canada. In 1998, Terri Clark was featured in the TV special “Terri Clark: Coming Home” which helped her to boost the popularity of her music, as well as her net worth.

So far, Terri Clark has released 10 studio albums which have featured over a dozen hit singles, of which the most popular in addition to those already mentioned are “Girls Lie Too”, “You’re Easy on the Eyes”, “Love is a Rose” and “I Just Wanna Be Mad”. Doubtlessly, all these achievements have increased Terri Clark’s net worth by a large margin.

Since April 2016, Terri Clark has served as “Country Gold’s” hostess, the Saturday night classic country music program.

When it comes to her personal life, Terri Clark was married twice, between 1991 and 1996 to fellow musician, fiddle player Ted Stevanson, then in 2005 to Greg Kaczor, her manager, but they divorced two years later. She currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee.

Terri Clarke Quotes

  • [observation about current trends in country music, 2014] It’s definitely pushing boundaries. I’ve heard a couple of people who couldn’t manage one Merle Haggard song. As time goes on, the people who blazed the trail are going to fade more and more. I think that’s the nature of time going by and things progressing. It makes me sad because my generation was influenced by that previous generation.
