Born Tamika Devonne Catchings on the 21st July 1979, in Stratford, New Jersey USA, she is a retired professional basketball player who played in the Women`s National Basketball Association (WNBA) for the Indiana Fever, but also played abroad for such teams as Galatasaray in Turkey, Spartak Moscow in Russia, and others.
