Enos Stanley ‘Stan’ Kroenke was born in Columbia, Missouri USA on 29 July 1947, and is an American businessman primarily in real estate, but also the owner of Kroenke Sports enterprises encompassing several prominent sports teams, including being the largest shareholders of English Premier League soccer club Arsenal.

So how rich is Stan Kroenke? Sources estimate that Stan’s net worth is over $7.7 billion; he has earned his wealth during his long career as a businessman in both sport enterprises and real estate industries.

Kroenke studied at the University of Missouri where he obtained his degrees of BA, BS and MBA. Stan established the Kroenke Group in the year 1983, a real estate big company which built many apartment buildings and shopping malls. Later in 1991 he founded a big independent corporation in real estate that specializes in suburban development. Kroenke became more wealthy when his wife and he inherited shares in Walmart after Ann’s father death in 1995. In the same year Stan bought a 40 % share in the National Football League’s St. Louis Rams, under the auspices of Kroenke Sports Enterprises. In the year 2000 Stan became the only owner of the National Basketball Association’s Denver Nuggets, and the National Hockey League’s Colorado Avalanche; these teams have added much to his wealth.

In the year 2008 it was officially announced that Stan had joined the Arsenal board of directors after the board allowed him to control the club. Voting in the NFL permitted Stan to become the full owner of the Rams in the year 2010. On 10 April 2011, Stan increased his stake in Arsenal by purchasing the stakes of Danny Fiszman and Lady Nina Bracewell Smith to own 62.89 % of the club.

In the year 2015, Kroenke Group had a partnership with Stockbridge Capital Group to build a stadium and venue in Inglewood, California, a suburb of Los Angeles. In addition to all of this, Stan is owner of the Pepsi Center in Denver, also one of the owners of the Dick’s Sporting Goods Park and a major owner of working ranches, and he has been ranked the United States’ ninth largest landowner by the Land Report magazine in 2015.

In his personal life, Stan has been married to Ann Walton – daughter of Walmart co-founder James ‘Bud’ Walton – since 1973, and they have a son and a daughter.
