She’s also presented other shows for the BBC, and as she continues her career, it is expected that her wealth will also continue to increase.

Sophie attended Putney High, and after matriculating would attend the University of Manchester. She studied French and German, before teaching English for a year after graduation. She then took postgraduate studies in broadcasting and journalism at City University, London.

Raworth began her broadcasting career in 1992, firstly with Greater Manchester Radio as a news reporter. Two years later, she would become the BBC Regions correspondent in Brussels, and then in 1995 she found a regular role as a joint presenter in the program “Look North”. As she had more opportunities, her net worth started to grow, and she moved to national television in 1997 to become a co-presenter of “Breakfast News”. During the launch of the show “Breakfast”, three years later, she became a presenter, and worked with other names in BBC such as Jeremy Bowen. She then later moved to “BBC Six O’Clock News” in 2003 working with George Alagiah, remaining in the role for two years before going on maternity leave.

In 2006, Raworth made her return as a presenter of “BBC News at One”, and would also work on several specials, which included “Our Monarchy – The Next 50 Years”, and “Tomorrow’s World”. Sophie stayed with “BBC News at One” until 2008 and would go on another maternity leave, having further increased her net worth.

After her return, she went on to present “BBC News at Six”, “BBC News a Ten”, and “BBC News at One”. The following year, she appeared as a part of “The Andrew Marr Show”, and also presented on the “BBC News Channel”.
