Shin Ha-Kyun is a South Korean actor born in Seoul on 30th May 1974. His most notable roles are those in South Korean films “Sympathy for Mr.Vengeance” (2002) and “Welcome to Dongmakgol” (2005). He has also starred in several drama series such as “Brain” (2012), “All About My Romance” (2013), and “Mr.Back” (2014) among others.

Other than these, Ha-kyun starred in “My Brother”, “No Mercy For The Rude”, “The Devil’s Game”, the 2009 horror film “Thirst” and a 2010 comedy film “Foxy Festival”, talking about different sexual affairs of upper-middle class people in Seoul.

Soon afterwards, Shin decided to return to television roles, and appeared in the mystery-comedy series “Harvest Villa” in 2010, and portrayed a neurosurgeon in the medical drama “Brain” the next year, the role that took his name to a new level of popularity, and won him a Grand Prize at the KBS Drama Awards, and adding to his net worth.

Shin’s most recent activity includes his involvement in the romantic comedy show “All About My Romance” (2013) and a role in the action film “Running Man” the same year. In 2014 he was cast as “Mr. Back” in the comedy series, and in an action-comedy film “Big Match”, and in 2015 starred in a period film “Empire of Lust”.
