She has been active in the entertainment industry since 1989.
How much is the net worth of Sharon Case? It has been estimated by authoritative sources that the outright size of her wealth is as much as $3 million, as of the data presented in the middle of 2016. Television is the main source of Case’s wealth, although she also adds sums from modelling.
To begin with, she was raised in Chatsworth, California, and from an early age she was involved in dancing ballet as well as being interested in jazz.
Talking about her professional career, she always dreamed about being an actress, yet she started as a model. In 1988, she received an offer to work as a model in Japan, and worked there for five months. Then she settled down in Los Angeles, and worked in theatre, creating lead roles in the musicals “The Nutcracker”, “The Wizard” and “Grease”, which were good contributors to her net worth.
Sharon was cast in the recurring role of Dawn Winthrop in the medical drama series “General Hospital” (1989 – 1990), which was followed by roles in episodes of the series “Doogie Howser, M.D.” (1990), “Beverly Hills, 90210” (1991), “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose” (1991), “Cheers” (1991) and “Silk Stalkings” (1992). From 1992 to 1993, Case portrayed the character of Debbie Simon in the soap opera “As the World Turns”; even though the character was a manic depressive, Case said she loved the role. Since 1994, she has created the regular role of Sharon Newman in the soap opera “The Young and the Restless”, for which Case has been nominated nine times, three of which she won. In 1994, Sharon Case starred as the main in the television series “Valley of the Dolls”, based on the novel of the same name. Her net worth rose steadily.
It should be said that Case has created some roles in television films too, including the HBO television film “Breast Men” (1997) and Hallmark television film “Dad’s Home” (2010). Moreover, she appeared in the feature film “Carpool Guy” (2005) co-starring with Lauralee Bell. Overall, the above mentioned roles have added significant sums to the total size of Sharon Case’s net worth.
What is more, Case was the first soap opera actress to adorn the cover of the magazine FHM. In 2010, Sharon launched the signature fashion jewellery line “Pomp” co-created with Elif Inanc, which will hopefully add further to her net worth.
Finally, in the personal life of the actress, Sharon Case was married to Sandy Corzine (2007 – 2009). She is best friends with Elif Inanc, and close with Melody Thomas Scott. The actress is active on the social networking site Twitter, on which she has more than 120,000 followers.
