Ryan Anthony Klesko was born on 12 June 1971, in Westminster, California USA, and is a former baseball player, best known as first baseman and corner outfielder for the San Diego Padres, Atlanta Braves and the San Francisco Giants in Major League Baseball (MLB).

Klesko grew up in Westminister, where he attended Westminster High School, excelling as a first baseman in the school’s baseball team. In 1988, he made the US Junior Olympic team. During his one year with the Giants, he hit .260 with six homers and 44 RBIs in 362 at-bats. Following his departure from the team, Klesko became a free agent.
