Ryan Allen Sutter Wiki Biography

Ryan Allen Sutter was born on 14 September 1974, in Fort Collins, Colorado USA, and is a retired professional American Football player and reality television contestant, best known to be the winner of the 2003 ABC TV reality competition “The Bachelorette”. All of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

How rich is Ryan Sutter? As of mid-2017, sources inform us of a net worth that is at $2 million, earned through success in his various endeavors. He played for the Carolina Panthers, and has also worked as a model as well as a firefighter. As he continues his endeavors, it is expected that his wealth will also continue to increase.

Ryan started to pursue a career in football while at school. He then attended the University of Colorado Boulder and played with the Colorado Buffaloes football team, and was their star defensive back and helped the team gain many victories. He then joined the 1998 NFL Draft and was selected during the fifth round by the Baltimore Ravens. He joined their training camp but was later cut from the team, then signing with the Carolina Panthers, but during his first game in the NFL sustained a shoulder injury, and was placed on the injured reserve and soon released. The following year, he joined the Seattle Seahawks but didn’t make the cut to the main roster. He decided to turn his attention to joining NFL Europe in 2005, joining the Barcelona Dragons. He also later tried his hand at the New Orleans Saints, but sustained another injury, and gave-up ideas of a career in the NFL. His net worth increased somewhat during his playing career.

Sutter then focused on other endeavors – he worked as a model, and also became a competitor in the “American Ninja Warrior”, however, he failed during the Denver Qualifiers. His net worth and popularity would increase when he joined the reality television dating show “The Bachelorette” during the season which featured physical therapist Trista Rehn, who was a runner-up from the first season of “The Bachelor”. In the show, Ryan competed along with 24 other bachelors – the show adapted the same rules from “The Bachelor”, and during the final selection one of the remaining two mail suitors would propose to the bachelorette and the bachelorette would either accept or decline. Sutter would win and the couple would marry in a televised wedding in 2003.

One of Sutter’s recent endeavors is working as a firefighter.

For his personal life, it is known that Ryan has been married to Trista Rehn since 2003,and they have two children – their first child was born early due to complications but they managed to overcome them. There have only been a few couples from “The Bachelorette” to have remained engaged or married after their run with the show. They’ve appeared as part of the Hands Only CPR PSA campaign from the Ad Council and the American Heart Association.
