Rosie has been nominated for and has won such awards as Academy Award, Golden Globe, Black Reel Award, Chicago Film Critics Association Award and others. Despite the fact that Rosie is now 50 years old, she is still very active, and participates in various projects while continuing her career.
If you consider how rich Rosie Perez is, it can be said that Rosie’s estimated net worth is $8 million. The main source of this sum of money is, of course, her career as an actress. In addition to this, Rosie’s works as a dancer and writer which also add to her wealth. Rosie’s childhood was not perfect as she had to live in foster care for quite a long time, while accommodating 10 half-brothers and sisters. Perhaps unsurprisingly, her mother died of AIDS-related complications. Maybe this kind of life encouraged her to work hard in order to create a better environment for herself. Rosie’s first appearance as an actress was in the television show, called “Soul Train” in the late 1980s, and soon she was noticed by other producers, so in 1988 she received an invitation to appear in the movie called “Do the Right Thing”. This had a significant impact on the growth of Rosie Perez’s net worth.
In addition to pursuing her career as an actress, Rosie also became well-known as a choreographer, and has worked with such artists as Janet Jackson, Fly Girls, Diana Ross, The Boys and others. In 1993 Perez took a role in one of her most famous movies, called “Fearless”, in which she worked with Jeff Bridges, Tom Hulce, John Turturro among others; the success of this movie made Rosie’s net worth a lot higher. Other movies and television shows that Rosie has appeared in include “21 Jump Street”, “Won’t Back Down”, “The Take”, “Just Like the Son”, “In Living Color”, “Law & Oder: Special Victims Unit”, and “Nurse Jackie”. In total, Rosie has appeared in over 30 films on the big screen, and more than 20 TV productions. All these projects have contributed steadily to Rosie’s net worth.
In addition to the above, Rosie released her autobiography, called “Handbook for and Unpredictable Life: How I Survived Sister Renata and My Crazy Mother, and Still Came Out Smiling”, which gained a lot of attention and made Perez’s net worth grow. Some of her recent works include being one of the hosts of the television show called “The View”. On the other hand, she took a break from this show, and decided to leave it in 2015.
If to talk about Rosie Perez’s personal life, it can be said that in 1991 she married Seth Zvi Rosenfeld, but their marriage ended in 2001. In 2013 she married Eric Haze.
Rosie actively participates in various charity campaigns and tries to help others as much as she can. All in all, Rosie Perez is a talented and successful woman, who was able to overcome all difficulties in her life and become an acclaimed actress.

Rosie Maria Perez Quotes
- Boxing is about pushing through your fears. It’s more about fighting yourself. Floyd Mayweather could get punched – like clean shot down the middle to his face – and he wouldn’t flinch. And I understand what he’s doing.
- Most of the criticism I got early in my career was from the Latin community. They used to take me out to lunch and tell me, “Can you go and take lessons to lessen your accent?”. Or, “When you’re on a talk show, can you not be so funny and loud?”. People gave me so much crap about my voice, and I tried. I really did try to change, but it was the way I spoke. As I got older, the octaves dropped, thank God. Now I find it flattering if a sixteen-year-old comes up and starts imitating me.
