Ronan Patrick John Keating Wiki Biography
Ronan Patrick John Keating was born on the 3rd March 1977, in Dublin, Ireland, and is a pop singer and songwriter. He made his debut as lead singer of the boy band Boyzone, which had great success in the 1990s. Ronan Keating released his first solo album “Ronan” in 2000, which was a big hit. As a soloist, he has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide.
How much is the net worth of Ronan Keating? It has been estimated by authoritative sources that the overall size of his wealth is as much as $25 million, as of the data presented in the middle of 2017. Music is the main source of Keating’s net worth.
To begin with, Ronan is the son of a truck driver and a hairdresser, the youngest of five children. In 1993, he participated with 300 other people in an audition for the band that would later be called Boyzone. He was selected along with four other boys, and was active with the band Boyzone from 1994 to 2000, selling over 25 million albums worldwide. The solo debut album “Said and Done” (1995) topped the Irish music chart and was certified three times platinum. Their third studio album “Where We Belong” (1998) was successful worldwide, reaching the #1 position on the music charts of many European countries, as well as New Zealand. Ronan’s net worth was well established.
Following the success of Keating’s solo single – “When You Say Nothing at All” (2000) – he separated from the band and released his debut self-titled album in that year. The disc, driven by the singles “Life Is A Rollercoaster”, “The Way You Make Me Feel” and “Lovin ‘Each Day”, was really popular in the UK and all over Europe, and sold six million copies worldwide. In 2002, he released his second album, “Destination” – trailed by the singles “If Tomorrow Never Comes”, “I Love It When We Do”, and “We’ve Got Tonight” the album reached the top position in the UK music charts and sold over four million of copies. In 2003, he released his third album “Turn It On”. Despite the success of the singles, the album didn’t replicate the sales figures of previous works resulting in barely a million copies sold and appearing in 21st place in the British charts. In 2004, a collection of his greatest successes entitled “10 Years of Hits” was released, which reached number one in Britain and sold 3.5 million copies worldwide. In 2006, his fourth solo album entitled “Bring You Home” showed up, debuting in 3rd place in the UK with 2.5 million copies sold.
In 2007 he again worked with Boyzone, the result of the reunion was a triumphant tour in 2008, when the greatest hits album entitled “Back Again … No Matter What” became one of the best selling albums in England. In 2010, the band released the album “Brother” in memory of Stephen Gately, one of the core members of the group who died prematurely for a pulmonary edema. The album debuted in 1st place in the UK charts.
In 2009, had Keating released his 5th solo album – “Songs for My Mother” – entirely dedicated to his late mother – the album reached the top spot on the UK charts. At the end of that year he released the album titled “Winter Songs” that reached the 16th position on the UK charts. In 2011, the new album “When Ronan Met Burt” was released, a collaboration with American composer Burt Bacharach, which contains ten of his famous songs reinterpreted by Keating with a live orchestra of 40 elements and recorded at the legendary Capitol Recording Studio of Los Angeles. The album received a good response from sales, coming to 3rd position on the British charts. Recently, he released the album “Time of My Life” (2016).
Finally, in the personal life of Ronan, he married Yvonne Connolly in 1998, and the couple had two sons and a daughter before divorcing in 2015. The same year, he married Australian producer Storm Uechtritz, and in April 2017, Storm gave birth to a boy.
