Robert Swift was born on the 3rd December 1985 in Bakersfield, California USA, and is a professional basketball player who apparently is currently a free-agent, best known for playing center in the NBA for the Seattle Supersonics/Oklahoma City Thunder from 2004-2009. Swift also represented the Bakersfield Jam in 2009, the Seattle Aviators in 2010, the Snohomish County Explosion in 2010, and the Tokyo Apache from 2010 to 2011. His career started in 2004.

Robert Swift was born to Bruce and Rhonda Swift and grew up in California, where he played basketball for Garces Memorial High School, and then starred at Bakersfield High School. His playing time increased in his second year, as he recorded 20 starts in 47 matches, averaging 6.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks in 21 minutes per game.
