Robert Austin Carlile Wiki Biography
Robert Austin Carlile was born on the 27th September 1987, in Pensacola, Florida USA, and is a musician who is currently the lead singer of the metalcore band called Of Mice & Men. Carlile has also taken part in the bands Attack Attack! and Call It Even. He has been active in the entertainment industry since 2006.
How rich is the musician? It has been announced by authoritative sources that the overall size of Austin Carlile’s net worth is over $3 million, as of the data given in late 2016. Music is the main source of Carlile’s wealth and popularity.
Together with high school friends Carlile founded the group Call It Even, however, this project was short lived, as the musicians split up after a year, at the time when they had written seven songs; later, Carlile used some pieces of the above mentioned songs. In 2006, Carlile joined the band which became Attack Attack!, which at that time was active under a different name – since the group wanted to play harder music, they changed their name. Austin was involved in the production of the EPs “Guns Are Outlawed” (2007), “Can We Use Swords” (2008) and the studio album “Someday Came Suddenly” (2008). Only one week after the release of the latter album, Carlile announced the name of his new band, Of Mice & Men. In an article of the Alternative Press it was reported that Carlile was thrown out of Attack Attack! during a concert tour of the group, however, Austin himself has not confirmed this. Regardless, his net worth was well established.
Moreover, Carlile announced the structure of his new band when presenting the members, including Jaxin Hall, Phil Manansala, Shayley Bourget and Tino Arteaga. Their debut self-titled album was released at the beginning of 2010, postponed as Carlile had to leave the band due to a heart surgery – his physician had forbidden him to take part in any musical activities, so he was temporarily replaced by Jerry Roush. After his recovery, Austin with the band released their second album called “The Flood” (2011).
In the early 2013, the group had to cancel two concerts of their tour, because Carlile was arrested with drummer Loniel Robinson II in Ohio after a fight; he was released by paying a security deposit of $25,000 until their first hearing in court. In 2014, the band released their third album “Restoring Force”, which topped the Billboard Independent Albums and Hard Rock Albums charts. In 2016, the band released their fourth full length studio album – “Cold World” – which was not as successful as the previous one, however, it sold 19,000 copies during the first week. To conclude, all the above mentioned engagements have increased the net worth of Austin Carlile.
Finally, in the personal life of the musician, he married Gielle Carlile in 2010, but they divorced in 2011. Currently, Austin claims to be single.
