RJ Mitte Wiki Biography

RJ Mitte was born on the 21st August 1992, in Lafayette, Louisiana, USA. He is a young actor, who is best known for starring in the role of Walter “Flynn” White, Jr. in the multi-award-winning TV series “Breaking Bad” (2008-2013). He is also recognized as a film producer and model. He became an active member of the entertainment industry in 2006.

Have you ever wondered how rich is RJ Mitte, as of early 2016? It is estimated by sources that the overall amount of RJ Mitte’s net worth is over $2.5 million, which has been accumulated through his career in the entertainment industry as a professional actor. Another source is coming from his work as a model and film producer; he appears to be a talented young person who may well increase his fortune in the forthcoming years.

When RJ Mitte was born he wasn’t breathing, which resulted in lasting brain damage. He was left by his biological parents, but was soon adopted by Roy Frank Mitte Jr. and Dyna Mitte. When he was only three years old, Mitte was diagnosed with cerebral palsy; anyway, this did not affect his will for future life, so as a teenager he was very active in many sports, which strengthened his body. With his family he lived in Louisiana, until his sister Lacianne Carriere invited him to play in a film, and they moved to California. As a 13-year-old boy, Mitte became responsible for his mother and younger sister, since their father left, so he had to work a number of jobs. At one point, Mitte made the decision to become a professional actor, but before he became known, he was featured in a number of commercials, and his first role was a cameo appearance in the popular Disney TV series “Hannah Montana” (2007), as School Jock.

In no time came RJ Mitte’s most recognized role so far, and the one that gave a significant boost to his net worth, as Walter “Flynn” White, Jr. who also has cerebral palsy, in the highly popular ABC series entitled “Breaking Bad” (2008-2013), along with other stars of the show, such as Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul. For this role, he has several nominations and at the 2013 Media Access Awards won the SAD-AFTRA Harold Russell Award and also won the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series award. Thanks to this, the Screen Actors Guild named him as the spokesperson of “Inclusion in the Arts and Media of Performers with Disabilities” organization which employs artists with disabilities. Besides that, he is also a celebrity ambassador for United Cerebral Palsy.

Since then, his career began to improve, earning him new and better paid roles. The first one was the role of Tim in the thriller film “The House Of Last Things (2013), and later moving to another TV series “Switched At Birth” (2014), in which he portrayed Campbell. In recent years, Mitte has appeared in the films “Dixieland” (2015), and he is to appear in “Who’s Driving Doug”, and “Adi Shankar’s Gods And Secrets”, which are scheduled for a release in 2016.

RJ Mitte has also been featured in a few music videos, including “Dead Bite” (2013), a song performed by Hollywood Undead, and “If I Get High” (2016), by Nothing But Thieves, which have also added to his overall net worth.

As a film producer, RJ Mitte is known for the documentary entitled “Vanished: The Tara Calico Story” and for the film “Triumph”, which release will come in 2016.

Regarding RJ Mitte’s personal life, in the media there is little information except that he currently lives with his mother and sister in Los Angeles.

RJ Mitte Quotes

  • ‘Breaking Bad’ – I’ve heard that question phrased in many directions, and it always means the same thing. It’s when someone can’t… when a decent person can’t take it any more. They just kind of turn and go in the opposite direction.
  • I like to dirt bike ride, four wheeler, go-kart.
  • I say, ‘You can never use excuses because they always run out.’
  • My sister is a mess. I love her to death, but she is a mess.
  • I always wanted to go into the military or something like that – my whole family, all my friends are either Air Force, Navy, or Marines.
  • I don’t really say too much to my parents. If they ask me to do something I just do it and get it out of the way.
  • I feel bad for people in wheelchairs and people who have to use crutches.
  • I hate being immobile.
  • I like to work.
  • I personally don’t like school, but you have to do it if you want to get through life, so pretty much I put up with it.
  • I want to get my Masters in business.
  • I’m actually very active.
  • The more you travel, the more well-off you’ll be, I think.
  • The people that you have around you are your biggest influence.
  • You can do anything if you set goals. You just have to push yourself.
  • I spent a long time away from my parents when I was younger. I would go hunting and fishing with my uncle, and we would go for weeks at a time. I also spent a lot of time in Texas with my grandparents.
  • I wouldn’t say in all situations, but a lot of times kids can be the most reasonable people around because they don’t have the deal with all the drama that goes along with being an adult.
  • One time I semi-wrecked my uncle’s truck. He told me to back it up into a ditch, but my foot slipped and I gunned it a little too much. But now I use one foot, and I do not run into stuff – at least I try not to.

RJ Mitte Important Facts
