Born as Ricardo León Sánchez de Reinaldo on the 3rd July 1958 in Guanabacoa, Cuba, Rick is a journalist, anchor and radio host, best known to the world for his extensive work for CNN, before being let go in 2010 over insulting comments towards his colleagues. He is now working for Fox News, Fox News Latino, and Mundo Fox.

Rick is the son of Cuban immigrants who brought him to the US when he was two years old. He went to Hialeah High School, from which he matriculated in 1977, then enrolled at Minnesota State University – Moorhead, after receiving a football scholarship.
