Reginae Carter Wiki Biography
Reginae Carter also known as Baby Carter was born on 29 November 1998, in Louisiana USA, and is an R&B and hiphop singer but probably best known for being the daughter of famous rapper Lil Wayne and Antonia “Toya” Carter. She’s been part of a reality television show and has also made significant milestones in her music career. Her various exploits have put her net worth to where it is currently.
How rich is Reginae Carter? As of early-2016, sources inform us of a net worth that is at $2 million, mostly earned through her music and television career. She’s been earning high amounts of money since she was young because of reality television and then later transitioning to music. She owns a BMW and a Ferrari that were gifted to her by her parents for her 16th birthday.
Reginae had very unusual circumstances during her childhood, with her parents having her while they were 16. Due to Lil Wayne’s popularity, they were approached by a production company for the reality television series “TOYA: A Family Affair”. Due to the conditions of these types of shows which included minors, both parties had an agreement to film young Reginae and the agreement included setting up a bank account for her. She was reportedly earning $2000 per episode during the first season which made her her net worth increase at a high rate when still very young. A few years later, a documentary was released entitled “The Carter Documentary” where Reginae showcased her skills on singing and rapping.
She became part of the teenage R&B group, OMG Girlz and stayed with the group until 2010. During this time she collaborated with Bria Williams to make the book “Paparazzi Princesses”, which focuses on life with a celebrity father.
Eventually, Reginae was signed to be an artist by Young Money Entertainment, the company owned by her father. President Mack Maine called her a super megastar and that people can expect greatness to come from her. Her debut single called “Mind Goin’ Crazy” was released in 2014 with little attention, but she was still popular in music circles due to her association with Lil Wayne. Reginae continues to work on her music, while also working on a book and a clothing line called YMCMP or Young Money Cash Money Princesses, which is a collaboration between her and Bria Williams.
Aside from her career, not much is known about Reginae’s personal life. After Wayne and Antonia’s divorce in 2006 – they only actually married in 2004 – she’s lived with her mother in Louisiana. Her parents have had separate relations since, and her mother is currently married while Lil Wayne has had other relationships. Her parents remain good friends so that they can raise their daughter properly. Reginae has four other siblings, all of whom are children of her father from different mothers. She is the oldest among Lil Wayne’s children and despite the odd situation, most of the mothers and children remain good friends. She also apparently expressed interest in rapper Jaden Smith, but no other news sprung forth from that declaration.
