Rahul Sharad Dravid was born on the 11th January 1973, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India and is a cricketer, who Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack named one of the five Cricketers of the Year in 2000. In 2004, he was voted the Player of the Year and the Test player of the Year by the ICC. Dravid played cricket professionally from 1996 to 2012. When he retired in 2012, he had the second highest total of test match runs of all time, 13,288, behind team mate Sachin Tendulkar.
