Rachel True Wiki Biography

Rachel India True was born on the 15th November 1966, in New York City, USA, and is an actress, best known to the world for appearing in such films as “The Craft” (1996), “Half Baked” (1998), and TV series “Half & Half” (2002-2006), among other differing roles. Rachel`s career began in 1991.

Have you ever wondered how rich Rachel True is, as of late 2016? According to authoritative sources it has been estimated that Rachel`s net worth is as high as $500,000, earned largely through her successful career in the entertainment industry. Apart from being a successful actress, Rachel has worked as a model in the past, which also improved her wealth.

Rachel is of mixed heritage; her father is Jewish, while her mother has African-American and Native-American roots. Rachel grew up in her hometown, and after finishing high school, she enrolled at the prestigious New York University. However, she never finished her studies, as she dropped-out after deciding to pursue a career as an actress.

Her debut role came in 1991 as Nicki in the TV series “The Cosby Show” (1991-1992), and then in 1993 made her film debut with the role Dahlia in Tamra Davis` “CB4”, starring Chris Rock and Allen Payne. Just two years later came her breakout role as Nicole in “Embrace of the Vampire” with Alyssa Milano and Martin Kemp, and then in 1996 she proved herself worthy in Andrew Fleming`s horror “The Craft”, with Robin Tunney, Fairuza Balk and Neve Campbell. By the end of ‘90s, Rachel had featured in “Half Baked” (1998), and “The Auteur Theory” (1999), among others, which only increased her net worth.

She started the new millennium with the role of Beth in the film “Groove” (2000), and continued with the role of Julianne Livingston in the drama “New Best Friend” (2001). In 2002, she was selected for the role of Mona Thorne in the TV series “Half & Half” (2002-2006), which kept her in the public eye and increased her net worth by a large margin. After this stint ended, she continued with film roles in such productions as “The Perfect Holiday” (2007), “Divas” (2009), and “Sugar Mommas” (2012), however, none of these films achieved great success, and her career was in a downward spiral. Then in 2014 she featured in James Cullen Bressack`s trash horror “Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys”, starring Shannen Doherty, Jason Brooks and Zack Ward, and in 2015 appeared in the comedy “Sharkanado: Heart of Sharkness”.

Most recently, Rachel has been working on several films that are yet to be released, including Brandon Ford Green`s directorial feature debut “Good Grief”, “Limelight” (2017), and Laveau” (2017), which will only increase further his net worth.

When it comes to her personal life, Rachel tends to keep her private life away from the public eye, and so far has done a great job, as there aren’t even any rumours of relationships; almost nothing is known about her except her acting career.
