Peter Jacobson was born on 24 March 1965, in Chicago, Illinois USA, of part-Jewish descent, the son of news anchor Walter Jacobson, and is an actor, probably best known for being part of the medical drama series “House” as the character Dr. Chris Taub. He also stars in the science fiction drama “Colony” as former proxy Snyder. All of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

Peter was then cast in a recurring role in “Law & Order”, in which he played the defense attorney Randy Dworkin, appearing in a few episodes of the show in 2003. He then had a part in the Academy Award-nominated film “Good Night, and Good Luck” two years later, playing Jimmy in the film directed by George Clooney, also starring the latter as well as Robert Downey Jr. and Patricia Clarkson. Since then Jacobson has appeared in numerous popular television shows. He then joined the cast of “House” as the plastic surgeon Dr. Chris Taub, hoping to get a position in Dr. Gregory House’s diagnostics team, becoming a regular cast member of the show in 2007. The medical drama series ran for eight seasons with the main character being played by Hugh Laurie, and was one of the top television shows of its time, winning five Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, as well as nine People’s Choice Awards.
After the end of the show’s run, Peter made a guest appearance in the show “Royal Pains” which is also based on concierge medicine practices. He then became the star of “Colony” which is now in its third season; the series is set in a dystopian future Los Angeles where the world is now under the control of extraterrestrials.
For his personal life, it is known that Jacobson is married to Whitney Scott they have a child together.
