Pete Wentz Wiki Biography
Peter Lewis Kingston Wentz III was born on the 5th June 1979 in Wilmette, Illinois USA, of German and English descent. He is a musician and songwriter perhaps best known as a member of the music band Fall Out Boy. Wentz is also the owner of the record label called Decaydance Records. On the whole, music is the most important source of Pete Wentz’s net worth. He has been active in show business since 1993.
So just how rich is Pete Wentz? Current estimates are that Pete is known to have a net worth of $18 million, accumulated during his career of over 20 years in the music industry.
Peter was raised in Wilmette, Illinois. He was educated at New Trier High and North Shore Country Day Schools, in which he successfully played soccer and was named an all-state player. Later, he entered DePaul University where he majored in political science, although he dropped out in order to pursue a career in music, which later add much financially to the overall amount of Pete Wentz’s net worth.
Initially, Peter performed with hardcore punk bands including Racetraitor, Arma Angelus, Extinction, Birthright and other bands (1998–2002). Then, he joined the rock band Fall Out Boy (2002–2009, 2013–present), and it’s important to say that all six studio albums released by the band were certified according to sales in Britain and many other countries. The most successful studio albums were “From Under the Cork Tree” (2005) and “Infinity on High” (2007). The band has won a number of awards, among them is the World Music Award for the World’s Best Alternative Act (2014). During the hiatus of Fall Out Boy band, Pete formed the electronic duo Black Cards. During the period of two years the duo was active, two mixtapes, a single and extended play have been released. Thus, music is a very significant source of Pete Wentz net worth.
In addition to this, sums are being added to the total size of Pete Wentz’s net worth from other ventures like fashion, writing and acting. Clandestine Industries, a clothing company, was founded by Wentz in 2006. More, Peter is the author of the book entitled “The Boy with the Thorn in His Side” (2005) which was influenced by recurring nightmares from his childhood of Peter. He is also a co-author of the comic book limited series entitled “Fall Out Toy Works” (2009). The film production company called Bartskull Films is also owned by Peter Wentz. As an actor he has made cameo appearances in the television series “Californication” (2008) and “Degrassi Goes Hollywood” (2009). Pete is now also the host of the television show “Best Ink” (2012–present).
Finally, in the personal life of Peter Wentz, he married the singer Ashlee Simpson in 2008, the same year their son Bronx Mowgli Wentz was born. However, the two divorced in 2011 and the custody of the child was given to the mother. Currently, he lives with his girlfriend Meagan Camper, and they have a son, Saint Laszlo, who was born in 2014. One unfortunate fact is that Wentz suffers from bipolar disorder, and attempted to kill himself by overdosing on medicine in 2005.

Pete Wentz Quotes
- It’s important for girls to understand that they don’t need to just be coat hangers for boys. It’s not all about being groupies.
- I can be unhappy and I can be happy, I am just one human being that thinks about my life and tries to figure myself out. When I write about feeling ****** it’s not because I want to put on black nail varnish and when I write songs about being happy it’s not because I sold a million records. It’s because I am going through my life and figuring it out as I go along.
- I obsessively wanted to be in bands. I was probably fourteen when I got my first bass it was my friend’s brother’s, and we stole it. I was really into the idea that we could just play basement shows. The name of the first band was First Born, and it was terrible. We played this hair-metal place in Iowa they gave you 150 tickets to sell, and you give them the money. We gave the tickets away, said we lost the money, and this old Italian guy almost beat the f**k out of us. But to me it was awesome.
- I guess we’re just one of those bands that just polarizes people. Some people worship the ground we walk on, and some people say we’re ruining music and should just shut out mouths. If you want to keep either of those opinions, you should try not to engage us in a real conversation. (On being voted worst band of 2005 by Spin magazine.)
- Underwear. It’s like a god damned leash. It also constantly reminds me of how funny I look naked.
- I was isolating myself further and further, and the more I isolated myself, the more isolated I’d feel. I wasn’t sleeping. I just wanted my head to shut off, like, I just wanted to completely stop thinking about anything at all. – Rolling Stone Magazine On Ativan O.D Incident
- We’re sick of hearing people say “that band is so gay” or “those guys are fags”. Gay is not a synonym for shitty. If you want to say something’s shitty, say it’s shitty. Stop being such homophobic assholes!
- See, there’s the bands that you say you like to sound smart, and there’s the bands you say you like to get laid. And then there’s the bands you really listen to. -Rolling Stone Interview
- My parents treat me like I’m 14. They make me clean my room and stuff like that. They’re always like “I don’t care what MTV says you are.
- You can live with me in this house I’ve built out of writers blocks.
- If you know me you know how uncool I am. I stutter, wear bad clothes, make bad jokes, make conversation uncomfortable, the list goes on. Thank you for making me feel okay.
