Paul Henry Konerko was born on 5 March 1976, in Providence, Rhode Island USA, of Polish and Italian descent. Paul is a retired professional baseball player, best known to play in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a first baseman from 1997 to 2014, for teams such as the Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers and Cincinnati Reds. All of his efforts helped put his net worth to where it is today.

Konerko attended Chaparral High School and was named as the Arizona Republic/Phoenix Gazette Player of the Year. He played well throughout his time there, and led the team to a Class 4-A state championship. He was ranked the top catcher in the country during his senior year.

In 2005, they would win the American League Championship Series (ALCS) against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and he was named the ACLS MVP though he mentioned that the award should’ve been given to the team’s starting pitchers. He hit the first grand slam of the team’s history during the 2005 World Series, leading the team to their eventual win. After their victory, he was signed to a $60 million five-year deal which increased his net worth significantly. He was also offered contracts by other teams, but opted to stay with the White Sox. He then became the captain of the team, and would get his 300th home run in 2009. The following year he got the fourth All-Star selection of his career, and his third highest home run total of his career. He continued to perform well until his numbers dropped in 2013. He spent one last year with the White Sox, and would retire in 2014 after 18 years in the majors. He was rewarded with the Roberto Clemente Award, becoming the first White Sox player to gain the honour.
For his personal life, it is known that Paul married Jennifer Wells in 2004, and they have three children.
