Tompkins was born on the 12th September 1968, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA, and is a Primetime Emmy Award-nominated actor, comedian, and writer, best known for such television shows as “Mr. Show with Bob and David” (1995-1998), “Real Time with Bill Maher” (2003), and “Speakeasy: With Paul F. Tompkins” (2012-2015). Tompkins has also appeared in such movies as “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy” (2004) and “There Will Be Blood” (2007). His career started in 1986.
