Patrick Roach Wiki Biography
Patrick Roach was born on 4 March 1969, in Branch, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, and is an investor and actor, probably best known for being part of the television series “Trailer Park Boys” playing Randy. He’s been active in the entertainment industry since 2001, but all of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.
How rich is Patrick Roach? As of late 2017, sources inform us of a net worth that is at $500,000, mostly earned through success in investing and acting. He was also part of “Swearnet: The Movie”, and was often portrayed as someone who showcased his large gut. As he continues his endeavors, it is expected that his wealth will also continue to increase.
Patrick started earning popularity when he became part of the mockumentary television series “Trailer Park Boys” – in which he plays Randy – portraying a group of trailer park residents including ex-convicts; the series is a continuation of a 1999 film of the same name. During the original film, he played a different character which would become the inspiration for Randy. The show then started in 2001 and has grown in popularity, increasing Patrick’s net worth. Since then, there has been three films that were created from the show. These are “The Movie”, “Countdown to Liquor Day”, and “Don’t Legalize It”. The show aired until 2007, and would later create subsequent seasons with Netflix in 2014. The cast members of “Trailer Park Boys” would create their own production company leading to the creation of “Swearnet: The Movie” which has them appear as fictionalized versions of themselves. This film holds the Guinness World Record for most uses of the word “fuck” in a film, totaling 953.
While Roach was a part of “Trailer Park Boys”, he was also building his wealth through other means. He worked as a regional sales manager for the bottled water company Sparkling Springs, and would only film the show during vacation. He held the job for a total of 11 years before quitting in 2004 to focus on acting. He also appeared in a commercial for Vonage the telephone service company, but aside from pure acting, he also appears in comedy shows and music events. He often does an improv or stand-up act with actor John Dunsworth.
In 2009, Roach also worked as a personal finance consultant at Investors Group, a position he held for four years. Later on, he would reunite with “Trailer Park Boys” cast members for the comedy show “The Drunk and On Drugs Happy Funtime Hour”, in which they play fictionalized versions of themselves. “Trailer Park Boys” also continues to be produced, and has now been running for more than 11 seasons.
For his personal life, it is known that Roach is married to Candyce and they have two children, although he enjoys traveling around the country during his free time. He also mentioned in an interview that his character Randy is gay, though is portrayed as a bisexual.
