Patricia Smith was diagnosed at an early age with type 1 diabetes. She battled the disease for 65 years before her death from a heart attack. Her heart was weakened by fighting diabetes for so long.
Versatile and prolific actress who appeared on stage with Henry Fonda in “Point of No Return” (Broadway,1951-1952). In addition to her film roles, she could be seen in just about every important television series of the 1960s and 1970s. Later found employment in the legal section of the composer’s agency, Gorfaine-Schwartz.
