Paige Turco Wiki Biography
Born on 17 May 1965, in Springfield, Massachusetts USA, Paige Turco earns her livelihood as an actress. She is prominent for portraying the character of April O´Neil in the wildly successful ¨Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, ¨ film franchise. Currently, she has a recurring role in the CW drama series, ¨The 100.
So just how rich is Paige Turco, as of early 2017? According to reliable sources, Paige has an impressive net worth of $5 million, garnered largely by starring in over 18 movies and making appearances in over 25 series, during a career which began in the late 1980s.
Born to Joyce Jean and David Vincent Turco, Paige Turco spent most of her childhood in Springfield, Massachusetts, and was enrolled in Walnut Hill School in Natick, Massachusetts. As a young girl, Paige grew up dreaming of becoming a classical ballerina, and even took ballet lessons to help fulfill her dream. In addition to that, she regularly performed as a soloist at the Amherst Ballet Theatre Company, the Western Massachusetts Ballet Company, and the New England. Unfortunately, an ankle injury played an atrocious role in curbing her progress, thus, she had to give up on her dream of becoming a professional ballerina. Paige has spoken about her painful memory, ¨I couldn´t even go to the ballet anymore. It was too painful.¨ She continued studying, though, and later managed to graduate from Bay Path College in 1987,major in drama.
Immediately after her graduation, Paige was able to secure a role and make her debut in the CBS TV series, ¨Guiding Light,¨ starring as Dinah Marler. However, the pinnacle moment in her career beckoned when she was cast to portray the character of April O´Neil in ¨Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, ¨ in 1991; she would later reprise her role in the sequel in 1993.
Regrettably, big movie roles dried up for her soon after, and she had to make-do with roles on the small screen. She would then go on to appear in a host of television series, including ¨Winnetka Road,¨ ¨American Gothic,¨ ¨NYPD Blue,¨ ¨and ¨Party of Five.¨ Since March 2014, she can be seen regularly in her recurring role as Abby Griffin in The CW series, ¨The 100.¨ When asked the 3 things she would bring with herself if she had to hypothetically evacuate Earth like her situation in the series, ¨The 100,¨ Paige said, ¨I want to take my son – that´s the first one. God, my husband will be mad. I want to take him too, but if I only have 3…no, I´m kidding. I don´t know, that´s hard. That´s like if you were on an island. I have a little pouch that has like, special sentimental things from my people who have passed and my family; I´d probably bring that.¨
In her personal life, Paige is a devout Roman Catholic; she is married to the Irish actor, Jason O´Mara, and they bear the responsibilities of being parents to their son David. The family of three regularly spends their time between Los Angeles, Connecticut and New York. When they have time to spare, they also travel to Ireland to visit their close relatives.
