In 2010, Nicki Minaj released her first studio album “Pink Friday”, produced by Sean Combs, Swizz Beatz and Will.i.am, Featuring guest appearances from Drake, Kanye West and Rihanna it did exceptionally well in the market, making #1 on the Billboard charts and selling 375,000 copies during its first week, and remaining in the charts for 73 weeks, being certified platinum by the RIAA and producing eight singles.
