Omri Moshe Casspi is a Holon, Israel-born Israeli professional basketball player who plays for Sacramento Kings of THE National Basketball Association(NBA). Born on 22 June 1988, Omri has been playing in the positions of small forward and power forward. One of the popular NBA players in America, Omri has been active as a professional basketball player since 2005 and has been playing for NBA since 2009.

Casspi became one of the very few players from Israel to play in the NBA and also proved to be one of the most skilled players in the Sacramento Kings. He played for the team ’til 2011 and later was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for another player JJ Hickson. Although he was picked for 2012 first round draft, Omri left the team to sign a multi-year deal with the Houston Rockets in 2013. Eventually, he was again traded to the New Orleans Pelicans and later in 2014 he was waived from Pelicans, and he returned to the Sacramento Kings. His return saw him earn him his career-high score of 31 points in the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, and he re-signed with Kings again in 2015.
