So just how rich is Nigel Lythgoe? Authoritative sources estimate that the total amount of Nigel Lythgoe’s net worth reaches over $110 million, accumulated from his varied involvement in the entertainment industry during a career now spanning almost 50 years.

Nigel Lythgoe was 10 years old when he became interested in dancing, beginning with began tap dancing, and studying at the Hylton-Bromley School of Dance and Drama, followed by the Perry Cowell School of Dance both on Merseyside, which included classical ballet, ballroom, modern jazz,  and national dance from several countries. Nigel Lythgoe opened his net worth account as a professional choreographer in the late 1960s, and in the 1970’s he worked with such dancers as Cyd Charisse, Shirley Bassey, Gene Kelly and Ben Vereen, which activities provided a solid basis to his net worth.

Nigel became the only person to be a dancer, choreographer, producer and director of the Royal Variety Performance, and then Nigel became interested in using choreography on television. In 2000, Lythgoe judged the talent show series ‘Popstars’, on which he earned the nickname Nasty Nigel because of his sharp remarks to the contestants.
