Nick Frost Wiki Biography
Nicholas John Frost was born on 28 Mach 1972, in Dagenham, Essex, England, to John and Tricia Frost, and is a screenwriter, producer, author, actor and comedian, perhaps best known for his appearances in Three Flavors Cornetto trilogy of movies from 2004 to 2013.
So just how rich is Nick Frost? Authoritative sources report that Frost’s net worth as of mid-2017 is as high as $16 million, accumulated through his various involvements in the entertainment industry, which began in the late 1990s.
Nick attended Beal High School in Ilford, but when he was 15, his parents’ family business failed, resulting in them having to move, and soon after that, Nick dropped out of school to go to work in a shipping company, and help his parents with the finances. Later on, Frost would work as a waiter at a Mexican restaurant in North London, and eventually meet actor Simon Pegg while working, shortly after which they started to spend more time together and became roommates, and eventually their friendship lead to a successful partnership – Frost’s comedy series ‘’Spaced’’ was based on a lifestyle he and his friend were living at the time, and aired on Channel 4 from 1999 until 2001. His net worth was established.
Nick played a couple of small roles in TV series and movies in the early 2000s, including ‘’Acorn Antiques’’. One year later, Nick created ‘’Danger! 50,000 Volts’’, a parody of survival TV shows that were starting to expand at that time. In that year, he had a lot on his plate – shortly after the previously mentioned spoof, he wrote ‘’The Sofa of Time’’ and starred in it alongside Matt King. In 2004, Frost’s and Pegg’s paths crossed again and Frost starred in a ‘’romantic zombie comedy’’ called ‘’Shaun of the Dead’’. At this time, his career was at its peak and was only developing further, as was his net worth.
A year after that, Frost starred in a sketch ‘’Man Stroke Woman’’ on BBC 3, then in 2006 played the role of Commander Henderson in ‘’Hyperdrive’’, a science fiction sitcom on BBC 2. In the same year, he had a small appearance in ‘’Kinky Boots’’, then the second season of his 2005 series ‘’Man Stroke Woman’’ aired in 2007, and concurrently appeared in various comedy movies and TV shows, but none of those gained as much attention and critical acclaim. He teamed up with Simon Pegg again, and the result of their partnership was the action movie ‘’Hot Fuzz’’, with the duo also starred in the movie, portraying cops Danny Butterman and Nicholas Angel. The pair then worked on ‘’Paul’’, a 2011 science fiction comedy movie, and critically acclaimed American movie ‘’The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn’’.
Frost is also the narrator of the UK television show ‘’Supernanny’’, and more recently Nick portrayed Andy Knightley in Pegg’s movie ‘’The World End’’ among plenty of smaller roles. In conclusion, Frost has now appeared in over 40 movie and TV series roles.
In his personal life, Frost stated that he was brought up in a Catholic family, but became an atheist alongside his close friend Simon Pegg. Nick has been married once, and from that union has a son. Frost and his ex-wife – production executive – Christina married in 2008 and lived in the St Margarets suburb of London until divorcing in 2015.

Nick Frost Quotes
- Lets have a look at the clip.
- The best thing that happened to British culture was “Ecstasy” (MDMA), it essentially stopped all violence in pubs and clubs. Punches were replaced by hugs.
- Even though I’m an atheist now, I was brought up a Catholic and if you’re a Catholic and you believe in God and the Bible, then Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) is like a documentary!
- [on Snow White and the Huntsman (2012) co-star, Kristen Stewart] She’s fun on set. She’s a fantastic actress. I think people forget she’s fairly young still, but she’s dedicated and she wants to do a good job. Often, I don’t think people take that into consideration. She’s doing ‘Twilight’ and stuff like that, but she’s dedicated and she works hard. I mean, how old is she? Twenty-three, Twenty-four? I don’t know that many twenty-three or twenty-four year-olds that get picked up at 4 am and work until 10 at night, six days a week. She comes on set smiling and laughing and she knows her lines.
- [on the science-fiction series Blakes 7 (1978)] Like Bergerac (1981) in space.
- [on the trials of playing weapons-expert “Mike Watt” in Spaced (1999)] I took a gun home to practice stripping it. A woman saw the barrel sticking out of my bag and called the police. I had gone home and it was a very hot day, so I opened the back door of my house and was sitting in a pair of skimpy shorts with a blindfold on, taking the gun to pieces. When I put it back and lifted the blindfold up, there were six or eight armed policemen holding firearms at me and they came in and started screaming – it was very tense.
- [on his character in Spaced (1999)] Mike is based on a couple of people I know, one is a friend called “Flea”, who is mad on weapons and stuff and Russia and another is “Jon”, an ex-security guard who also likes guns a bit too much. But for their military love they are both lovely blokes.
- [on his brief experience as a stand-up comedian] I did ten gigs at the very beginning. Five were amazing, and five were the worst moments of my life.
