Nancy Juvonen Wiki Biography

Nancy Juvonen, born on the 18th of May 1967, is an American film producer, probably best known for producing films including “Donnie Darko”, “Duplex” and “Fever Pitch” to name a few.

So how much is Juvonen’s net worth? As of early 2016, it is reported to be $20 million, gained mostly from producing a number of big hit films and having her own production company.

Juvonen, born in Marin County, California, is a graduate of the University of Southern California, and has a degree in sociology and co-operative education. After graduation, Juvonen tried various jobs before landing a career in film. She has worked in Wyoming on a guest ranch, then tried her hand as a flight attendant on private aircraft, and worked with an artist.

Finally, she landed a job as an assistant to prominent saxophonist Clarence Clemons, a member of Bruce Springsteen’s E-Street band, whom she eventually helped set up his own production company.

Jim, Juvonen’s brother, is a writer and a producer who introduced her to the world of film. In 1993, while working in the film “Mad Love” with Jim, Juvonen met actress Drew Barrymore and the two clicked. Barrymore convinced Juvonen to move to Los Angeles and get in to the film industry. Finally, in 1995 the two decided to work together and started their own production company Flower Films. Her business venture launched her career in film and started to boost her net worth.

Though the company started with a minor animated television-movie entitled “Olive, the Other Reindeer” in 1999, in which Nancy had a minor part, the company later went on to produce box-office hit movies. Flower Films has produced most of Barrymore’s movies, including what was to become a minor cult movie “Donnie Darko” in 2001, plus over a dozen other films such as “Never Been Kissed”, the successful “Charlie’s Angels” and “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle”, “Duplex”, “50 First Dates”, “Fever Pitch”, “Music and Lyrics”, “Whip It!” and “He’s Just Not That into You”. Recently, they produced comedy movie “How to Be Single”. The success of the films that they have produced have naturally been mirrored in the success of their company, and have helped tremendously in increasing Juvonen’s net worth in a career now spanning 20 years in the film industry.

Flower Films also has a couple of television shows and series under their, belt including, “Choose or Lose Presents: The Best Place to Start”, “Tough Love Couples” and the perennial “Charlie’s Angels”.

In terms of her personal life, Juvonen is married to actor and popular TV host Jimmy Fallon. The two met through Barrymore, while working on the set of the movie “Fever Pitch” in 2005. The couple dated briefly before becoming engaged, and they married in 2007. In 2013 they welcomed their first child Winnie Rose via surrogacy. In 2014, their second daughter was born Frances Cole via surrogacy as well.
