Nagavara Ramarao Narayana Murthy was born on the 20^th August 1946 in Sidlaghatta, Kolar District, Karnataka Indi, and is best known as a co-founder of Infosys, a business consulting corporation, where he served as its CEO from 1981 until 2001, and was also its chairman from 2002 to 2011. He has been active in the IT industry since the1970s.
