You might think how rich is Mitt Romney? It has been estimated that Mitt’s net worth is 250 million dollars. He is considered to be one of the wealthiest of Presidential candidates. Recently there was a movie created about the presidential campaigns of Romney, directed by Greg Whiteley. As Mitt still continues his career as a politician there is a high possibility that Mitt Romney’s net worth will become higher in the future.
Willard Mitt Romney, or better known to the world as simply Mitt Romney, was born in 1947, in Michigan. In 1962 Mitt was a part of his father’s Michigan gubernatorial campaign which appeared to be successful. From that time Mitt became familiar with politics and everything that is related with it. Romney later started studying at Brigham Young University and after finishing it, at Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School. Mitt’s business career started when he became a part of the Boston Consulting Group. This of course added to Romney’s net worth. In 1977 Mitt started to work at Bain & Company. He was very successful at this work and it made him acclaimed among others in the company. After some time Mitt decided to leave Bain & Company and created his own firm, called Bain Capital. The success of the company had huge impact on the growth of Mitt Romney’s net worth.
In 1993 Romney considered the idea of involving himself in politics. So he became a candidate for the US Senate. In 2002 He ran for election as governor of Massachusetts and won. This made him more known in the world of politics as well as made him more respected and of course added to Mitt’s net worth. As Romney’s career as a governor of Massachusetts was quite successful, in 2008 he decided to become a candidate for 2008 election of the President of the United States. Unfortunately it was not good enough for him to win. In 2012 Romney again participated in the election for the President of the United States. This campaign was more successful than the previous one, but he still lost the election and Barack Obama became the President of United States. Although Mitt had not won the election he became very a famous and respected politician.
In addition to this, Romney has also released 2 books: Turnaround: Crisis, Leadership, and the Olympic Games and No Apology: The Case for American Greatness. This of course added to the growth of Mitt Romney’s net worth. All in all it could be said that Mitt Romney is a famous and successful politician. Although there were some ups and downs in his career he is still respected and acclaimed among others.

Mitt Romney Quotes
- Donald Trump says that he is very, very smart, but I’m afraid when it comes to foreign policy, he is very very not smart. He said he saw thousands of Muslims in New Jersey celebrating 9/11. Wrong. He saw no such thing. His imagination must not be married to real power.
- [on Obama’s supporters] There are 47% of the people who will vote for the President, no matter what. All right, there are 47% who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, you name it. I’ll never convince them that they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.
- My faith is grounded in the conviction that a consequence of our common humanity is our responsibility to one another – to our fellow Americans foremost, but also to every child of God. Some people believe that such a confession of my faith will sink my candidacy. If they are right, so be it. But I think they underestimate the American people. Americans do not respect believers of convenience. Americans tire of those who would jettison their beliefs, even to gain the world.
- I pay all the taxes that are legally required and not a dollar more.
- “It’s time for innovation and transformation in Washington. It’s what our country needs. It’s what our people deserve.” Campaign speech, 2007.
