Born as Mitchell David Albom on the 23rd May 1958 in Passaic, New Jersey USA, and is a sports journalist, radio and television broadcaster, screenwriter and novelist whose books have been sold in more than 35 million copies around the globe. He also appears on ESPN in “The Sports Reporters” and “Sports Center”, and has contributed shows on various networks, including CBS and ABC among others. His career has been active since the early 1980s.

Furthermore, he was the recipient of the APSE’s Red Smith Award for lifetime achievement. Her columns were also collected and made into books, but also, Mitch has released several non-anthology books, including “Tuesdays with Morrie” (1997), “The Five People You Meet In Heaven” (2003), “Have A Little Faith: A True Story” and “The Magic Strings Of Frankie Presto” (2015), among others, all of which increased his net worth by a large margin.

His career on radio began in 1987 on WLLZ-Detroit, as a sports commentator, but also had his own sports program on Saturdays, and in 1988 he added Sunday to his program.

He stayed on the station until 1996, when he joined the WJR, and since then has been the host of the weekend sports talk show, and also of the “The Monday Sports Album”, which only increased further his net worth.
