Missi Pyle Wiki Biography
Andrea Kay Pyle was born on 16 November 1972, in Houston, Texas, USA, and is a singer and actress, probably best known for appearing in films such as “The Artist” – which won an Academy Award – and “DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story”, “50 First Dates” and “Gone Girl”. All of her efforts have helped put her net worth to where it is today.
How rich is Missi Pyle? As of late-2016, sources estimate a net worth that is at $3 million, mostly earned through a successful career as an actress. She’s also been a part of numerous television shows, such as “Friends”, “Heroes”, “Two and a Half Men” and “Frasier”. As she continues her career it is expected that her wealth will increase.
Missi attended Germantown High School, and during her time there was part of the Poplar Pike Playhouse which presented her with a few of her first acting opportunities. After matriculating, she attended North Carolina School of the Arts, and would graduate in 1995.
Her career then started taking off, as did her net worth, when she began appearing in numerous television shows such as “Boston Legal”, “2 Broke Girls” and “The Sarah Silverman Program”. One of her first film opportunities was in “As Good as It Gets”, in which she had a minor role alongside stars Helen Hunt and Jack Nicholson. She was then cast in “Galaxy Quest” which served as her breakout role, and would then follow it up with supporting roles in several films, including “Bringing Down the House”, “Josie and the Pussycats”, “Soul Plane”, and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. She also starred in “BachelorMan” and then appeared in “50 First Dates” all in 2004, which certainly boosted her net worth.
She had a recurring role in “Two and a Half Men”, portraying Elementary School teacher Ms. Pasternak, and would reprise her role in the show during 2011 and in the series finale in 2015. In between those appearances, she starred in the production “Boeing-Boeing” which was also supposed to be promoted at the New York Stock Exchange, however, the global financial crisis cancelled the promotion. She also formed a country music group with actress Shawnee Smith called Smith & Pyle, and they performed at numerous festivals. They then recorded their first album entitled “It’s OK to Be Happy” which was released through Amazon and iTunes.
The two would subsequently establish their own record label entitled Urban Prairie Records, which was used to release their debut album. The success of their music helped elevate their net worth. They also planned a web series and radio series, releasing a video on YouTube on the making of the record and they also have a Vimeo video which is more detailed.
For her personal life, it is known that Missi had her first marriage to Antonio Sacre from 2000 to 2005. She married Casey Anderson in 2008; the couple appeared in an episode of the “Dog Whisperer “, before they divorced in 2012. In 2009, she had a faux wedding with bandmate Shawnee Smith to support the repealing of Prop 8 in California.
