Some of them include the Prism Award, Primetime Emmy Award, Kids’ Choice Award and many others. So how rich is Mike Judge? It has been estimated that Mike’s net worth is 75 million dollars. This sum of money has mainly come from his career as an animator and producer. As Mike continues to work on different projects there is a high chance that Mike Judge’s net worth will become even higher in the future.

Michael Craig Judge, better known to the world as Mike Judge, was born in 1962, in Ecuador. Mike studied at the University of California, San Diego and received a degree in physics. There is no surprise that his first job was not related to the movie industry. He worked as a programmer at Support Systems Associates, Inc. Later Mike was a part of Anson Funderburgh’s group. In 1989 Judge started to create short animated films. At the beginning of his career, Judge created Office Space, Frog Baseball and later Beavis and Butt-head. Mike himself voiced main characters and several others. From that time Mike Judge’s net worth started to grow quklyic, as Beavis and Butt-head became very successful.

In 1997 Mike created another very successful and famous animated situation comedy, entitled King of the Hill. This show is now considered to be one of the longest-running animated series. The success of King of the Hill also had a huge impact on the growth of Judge’s net worth. In 1999 Mike was a part of South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut. In 2012 Mike directed Zac Brown Band’s music video for the song called The Wind. What is more he, together with John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky, created the sitcom entitled Silicon Valley. All these activities added a lot to Mike’s net worth. Other movies and television shows that Mike was a part of include Spy Kids 2: The island of Lost Dreams, Jackass Number Two, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, R.I.P.D. and many others. This of course made Mike Judge’s net worth grow.

All in all, it could be said that Mike Judge is a very talented animator, producer and screen writer. During his career he has created shows that will remain famous for a very long time in the future. Some of his created series are considered to be some of the most successful. Mike is respected and acclaimed by other people in the industry. Mike’s talent helped him gain a lot of awards and nominations and probably he will win even more of them. If Mike Judge continues creating successful shows there is also a chance that his net worth will become much higher than it is now.

Mike Judge Quotes

  • [on the characters in ‘Silicon Valley’] These type of people, had they been born 200 years ago, would not be the wealthiest people in the world. You look at whoever the richest person in television is today, and they probably spent 20 or 30 years just working their asses off, staying up until three in the morning, writing episodes. And then you look at the Tumblr guy who’s a billionaire. There are these guys in college who were smart but introverted people who suddenly have a billion dollars, and they’re still socially awkward. That’s just great for comedy.
  • For so much of my life I was worried about how I was going to make a living. I was in denial in college, and then I was like ‘Oh, shit, I’m going to be a homeless bum. I gotta figure out a job’. My sister used to read all these Nancy Drew books, and she would say, “Nancy Drew just says ‘so I hopped on a plane’. How does she pay for the ticket?” And I just think sometimes that’s lacking in the entertainment world. People seem to have endless cash no matter they do.
  • Why should every single character be an honor student who goes around helping others and never doing anything wrong? Is that like the rule or something?
  • When the show started out, it was like all of a sudden we had to do 35 episodes and we had just a month and a half to write them, and it took me a while to realize that I was in charge.
  • They say it figures MTV would do such a vulgar, awful, horrible show and they completely miss that it’s satirizing the people who watch MTV.

Mike Judge Important Facts

  • Good friends with Trey Parker and Matt Stone.
  • Dislikes celebrities doing voice acting. On the Beavis and Butt-head Do America DVD Commentary he said it’s distracting.
  • Good friends with Seth MacFarlane.
  • He has played the same character (Hank Hill) on four different television series: King of the Hill (1997), The Simpsons (1989), The Cleveland Show (2009) and Family Guy (1999).
  • Has a child, Charles Judge (born April 4, 2007) with Katrina Bronson.
  • He was inducted into the Texas Film Hall of Fame in March 2007 in Austin, Texas.
  • Speaks fluent Spanish.
  • Played bass guitar for Anson Funderburgh and The Rockets, a Dallas based blues band, and for Doyle Bramhall, a Texas-based musician.
  • The characters of Mr. Tom Anderson (from Beavis and Butt-Head (1993)) and Hank Hill (from King of the Hill (1997)) are based, in part, on his experiences with his neighbors in Texas.
  • He created Beavis and Butt-Head (1993) for MTV and King of the Hill (1997) for Fox. In late 1996 he was determined to get King of the Hill (1997) off the ground and bring Beavis and Butt-Head (1993) to an end. This resulted in a struggle with both networks as he tried to convince them that they were two completely separate shows. Wanting to work on King of the Hill (1997) for Fox while not completely turning his back on MTV, he relented to allowing a series focusing on Daria (1997) but wanted to put the project in someone else’s hands.
  • Co-founded The Animation Show in 2003, a festival of animation that put animated short films into more movie theaters in North America than any other in history.
  • Raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
  • He participated in Boy Scouts as a cub scout.
  • Received a BS in physics from the University of California, San Diego.
