Michael Beach Wiki Biography
Michael Anthony Beach was born on 30 October 1963, in Roxbury, Massachusetts USA, and is an actor known from appearances in various films during a career which began in the late 1980s. Some of these include “A Family Thing”, “One False Move”, and “Soul Food”. He also appeared in the television series “Third Watch” as Monte Parker. All of his endeavors have helped put his net worth to where it is today.
How rich is Michael Beach? As of early-2017, sources inform us of a net worth that is at $3 million, mostly earned through a successful career in acting. He stayed in “Third Watch” for the show’s entire run from 1999 to 2006. As he continues his career it is expected that his wealth will also continue to increase.
Beach attended the Juilliard School, graduating in 1986 shortly after which he started appearing in various television and film projects, making his debut the following year in the film “End of the Line”, which is about railroad workers trying to save their jobs. Afterwards, he would appear in “Lean on Me” opposite Beverly Todd and Morgan Freeman, loosely based on the story of high school Principal Joe Louis Clark. Michael’s net worth started increasing at this point, and he would then star in more films throughout the 1990s, including “Internal Affairs” and “One False Move” which is a thriller starring Billy Bob Thornton. Beach also appeared in “Short Cuts” and “True Romance”, before being cast in the television show “Under Suspicion” playing Detective Desmond Beck from 1994 to 1995.
In 1995, Beach got his big break in the comedy-drama film “Waiting to Exhale”, playing the unfaithful husband of Angela Bassett. The film was Forest Whitaker’s directorial debut and Michael would then play a similar role in the film “Soul Food”. Around this time, he also had numerous television opportunities, including in the hit medical drama “ER” for two years, playing the recurring role of Al Boulet, the ex-husband of the character Jeanie Boulet played by Gloria Reuben. In 1999 he became a regular cast member of the series “Third Watch” as the paramedic Monte “Doc” Parker. His net worth was rising steadily.
Other TV shows that Michael has been known for include guest appearances in “Law & Order”, “Criminal Minds”, and “Grey’s Anatomy”. He’s also been a part of “The Blacklist”, “The 100”, and “Sons of Anarchy”. In 2014, he was cast as a regular in the series “Crisis” but it was short lived. Despite this, all of these opportunities have built up his net worth.
Michael has won several awards over the course of his career, including a Golden Globe Award for his performance in “Short Cuts”, and a 2003 Image Award for his role on “Third Watch”.
For his personal life, it is known that Beach married Tracey E. Broderick in 1989 but their marriage ended in divorce in 2006. The following year, he married Elisha Wilson. Michael has four children from his two marriages.
