Melvin Glover was born on the 15th May 1961, in The Bronx, New York City, USA, and is a record producer, rapper and songwriter, best known to the world for being a part of the rap group Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, with which he released two studio albums “The Message” (1982), and “On the Strength” (1988). His career started in 1978.

However, the album was nowhere near the success of its predecessor, which resulted in permanent disbanded of Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five.

Melle Mel had other projects, including the album with Scorpio called “Right Now”, released in 1997, then collaboration with pop star Lady Gaga “The Portal In The Park”, and a solo album in 2007 entitled “Muscles”, which also increased his net worth.
