His assets include a five-bedroom, French Normandy-style home, on five acres of near Lake Forest. His fortune has been acquired during his football career which began in 2008.

Forte grew up in Slidell, Louisiana, where he attended Slidell High School, being an avid football player and a standout sprinter. During his senior year, he was named the St. Tammany Parish Player of the Year and District 5-5A Offensive MVP, while also earning All-Metro selection honors. As a sprinter, his personal record was an impressive 10.68 seconds for the 100 metres.

Forte later enrolled in Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, to study Finance. He played NCAA Division I college football for the Tulane Green Wave team, a member of Conference USA. He participated in three out of four seasons with the team, suffering a knee injury during his junior year which caused him to miss the entire season. During his tenure at Tulane, Forte was a Conference USA All-Freshman, a two-time All-C-USA member and a Third-team AP All-American. His best season came in his senior year, when he ran for 2,127 yards and 23 touchdowns, winning the overall MVP award at the 2008 Senior Bowl, in which he ran a total of 59 yards with 9 carries.

Forte was drafted in the second round, as the forty-fourth overall pick by the Chicago Bears in the 2008 NFL Draft. Carrying the ball 23 times for 123 yards in his first season with the team, he set a franchise record for most yards gained in a running back debut, earning the Sunday Night Football’s “Horse Trailer Player of the Game” award. He became the first running back in the Bears’ history to pass over 1,400 yards from scrimmage in each of his first three seasons. He was named to the 2012 Pro Bowl, becoming the first running back in the team to achieve this since 1991. After refusing to sign the team’s franchise tag worth $7.74 million, he signed a four-year, $32 million deal in 2012, significantly improving his net worth. The following year he became the team’s first running back to capture runs of 50+ yards in back-to-back games since 1997, and placed third in the all-time leading rusher list, while also achieving the second highest total in career rushing yards in the franchise’s history; selection to the 2014 Pro Bowl soon followed. His 1,339 rushing yards were the ninth-most in franchise history and second in the NFL that season. The year 2014 saw Forte breaking the single season record for most receptions by a running back with 102, and passing 1000 yards for the third season in a row. The following year, in which Forte played in only 13 games gaining 898 yards and four touchdowns, was his last one with the Bears.

In the early 2016, he signed a three-year, $12 million contract with the New York Jets, significantly contributing to his net worth.

Forte’s nine-year career in the NFL has brought him a decent level of popularity and considerable wealth as well.

When it comes to his personal life, the player has been married to Danielle Forte since 2011; the couple has two children together. Forte also has a child with an ex-girlfriend, with whom he had apparently cheated on his then fiance Danielle.
