Martha Quinn was born on 11 May 1959, in Albany, New York USA, to retirement counselor Nina Pattison, and attorney David Quinn. She is a television and radio personality, and an actress, but probably best known as working for MTV as one of the first video jockeys.
So just how rich is Martha Quinn now? Sources state that Quinn has established a net worth of over $750,000, as of early 2017, acquired through her involvement in the entertainment industry which began in the early 1980s.
Quinn attended Ossining High School in New York, and upon matriculating in 1977, she enrolled in New York University, graduating in 1981. While attending university, Quinn performed in various television commercials, such as for McDonald’s, Country Time Lemonade, Clearasil and Campbell’s Soup. She also worked at the college station WNYU, and later became an intern at New York’s major radio station, WNBC Music Radio, where she learned about a new venture of former WNBC’s program director Bob Pittman – a cable channel called MTV. After being encouraged to audition for a role at the new network as a VJ, she went for it and became an MTV VJ, the position she would hold for a decade, becoming one of the iconic five original MTV VJs, along with Mark Goodman, Nina Blackwood, Alan Hunter and JJ Jackson.
