According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Mark’s net worth is as high as $5 million, earned through his successful career in the entertainment industry as an actor, during which he has appeared in over 140 film and TV titles.
Mark is the son of Bob Heidrich and his wife Ginny; although born in Ohio, Mark grew up on North Chicago Shore. After high school he enrolled at the University of Vermont, then following his graduation, Mark moved to New York to pursue a career as a stand-up comedian with his friend Steve Buscemi. Soon after arriving in New York, Mark took the nickname Boone, from a New York City war memorial.
Mark’s career began in the early ‘80s, with small roles in such films as “Born in Flames” (1983), “Variety” (1983), “The Way It Is” (1985), and then in 1986 had the lead role next to Steve Buscemi in the film “Film House Fever”. He continued with small roles in films such as “Die Hard 2” (1990), starring Bruce Willis and William Atherton, “Of Mice and Men” (1992), with Gary Sinise and John Malkovich, “The Paint Job” (1993), starring Will Patton and Bebe Neuwirth, then David Fincher’s Oscar Award-nominated “Se7en” (1995), with Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt, Steve Buscemi’s “Trees Lounge” (1996), “Rosewood” (1997), with Jon Voight and Ving Rhames, John Carpenter’ classic horror “Vampires” (1998), then the lead role in “October 22” (1998), and Terrence Malick’s successful accomplishment, Oscar Award- nominated war drama “The Thin Red Line” (1998), which featured such stars as Sean Penn, Nick Nolte, John Cusack, Adrien Brody, Woody Harrelson, John Travolta and George Clooney, among others.
Mark just couldn’t get a big break from the start of his career, and has always been the ‘go to’ guy for smaller support roles; this continued in the early 2000s, with roles in such films as “Animal Factory” (2000), with Willem Dafoe and Edward Furlong, “Everything Put Together” (2000), and Christopher Nolan’s “Memento” (2000), starring Guy Pearce and Carrie-Anne Moss.
In 2003 he played Detective Whitworth in the film “2 Fast 2 Furious” (2003), starring Paul Walker and Tyrese Gibson, and then in 2005 Flass in Christopher Nolan’s “Batman Begins”, while in 2007 appearing in the horror “30 Days of Night” (2007), with Josh Hartnett and Melissa George. In 2008 he was selected for his most notable role so far, as Bobby Munson in the TV series “Sons of Anarchy” (2008-2014). The role certainly increased his net worth and also his popularity.
While the show lasted, Mark also appeared in other productions, including such the films “The Mother of Invention” (2009), “Everything Will Happen Before You Die” (2010), “Happiness Runs” (2010), with Joni Barth and Kirsten Berman, then the lead role in comedy :Pete Smalls Is Dead” (2010), with Peter Dinklage.
After the series ended, Mark continued to search for new engagements and appeared in such films as Nate Parker’s biographical drama “The Birth of a Nation” (2016), and thriller “American Romance” (2016). Also, Mark will appear in films “Gun”, “Ghost House” and “By the Rivers of Babylon”, all of which are scheduled for a release in late 2017.
Regarding his personal life, Mark’s most intimate details, including marital status and number of children remain unknown in the media.
