Maren Morris Wiki Biography
Maren Larae Morris was born on the 10th April 1990. in Arlington, Texas USA, and is a country musician, singer, songwriter and guitarist, best known to the world for her debut hit single “My Church”, and album “Hero”.
Have you ever wondered how rich Maren Morris is, as of early 2018? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Morris’ net worth is as high as $200,000, an amount earned through her successful career, active since 2005.
The oldest daughter born to Scot Morris, and his wife Kellie, Maren spent her childhood in her hometown with Karsen, her younger sister.
Maren’s career started in 2005 with her debut full-length album “Walk On”, released through Mozzi Blozzi Music. The release didn’t receive as much attention as she hoped, but she continued her career, and two years later, released her second album “All That It Takes”, this time through Smith Entertainment. However, the result was the same, but Maren didn’t give up, and in 2011 returned to Mozzi Blozzi Music with her third album “Live Wire”. After gaining some recognition as a songwriter and musician on the whole, Maren was contacted by several other songwriters, and began writing for already acclaimed musicians, and her debut songwriting credit is Tim McGraw’s song “Last Turn Home”, co-written with Ryan Hurd and Eric Arjes, and she then worked on Kelly Clarkson’s song “Second Wind”.
Maren also used this time to create her own songs, and in August 2015 uploaded her EP “Maren Morris” on Spotify, and in a short time span, her songs received over 2.5 million streams. This new event brought attention to Maren from a number of major labels, and she was approached by Columbia Nashville, with which she signed a recording contract in September the same year. Her EP was soon re-released by the label, and it became her first-charting release as it reached No. 22 on the US Country chart, while it topped the US Top Heatseekers chart, and sold 28,000 copies, which only increased Maren’s net worth. The following year, Maren released her debut single “My Church”, which eventually reached platinum status, further increasing her net worth. In June 2016, Maren released her first studio album for a major label, entitled “Hero”, topping the US Country chart, selling 271,100 copies, which added a considerable amount to her net worth.
Most recently, Maren worked with Thomas Rhett on the song “Craving You”, which achieved platinum status, and is currently working on a song “The Middle”, alongside Zedd, and Grey.
She has also continued her songwriting career, working with a number of artists, including Jessie James Decker, The Henningsens, Aubrey Peeples and many others, which also increased her net worth.
Thanks to her newfound fame, Maren has won a number of prestigious awards, including 2016 CMA New Artist of the Year, and also her single “My Church” won a Grammy Award in the category of Best Country Solo Performance.
When it comes to her personal life, Maren is engaged to Ryan Hurd, who was one of the people who helped her in her early career.
