Marcelo Claure was born on 9 December 1970, in La Paz, Bolivia and is an American businessman and entrepreneur widely known as the founder of Brightstar Corporation, a wireless industry distribution company, as well as the current Chief Executive Officer of Sprint Corporation, a telecommunications holding company and wireless services provider.
