Manuel Arístides Ramírez Onelcida was born on 30 May 1972, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and is a professional baseball player who is known under the shortened name of Manny Ramirez. He is well known for power hitting, great batting through 19 seasons of playing professional baseball. Ramirez retired being the member of the Tampa Bay Rays team where he played in the position of the outfielder. Currently, he has a contract of a part-time player/coach with one of Chicago Cubs in a minor league where they play for AAA lowa Cubs.
