Mackenzie Rosman Wiki Biography
Mackenzie Lyn Rosman was born on 28 December 1989, in Charleston, South Carolina USA, of German and English descent. She is an actress, probably best known for her role as Ruthie Camden in the television series “7th Heaven”.
So just how rich is Mackenzie Rosman at present? According to sources, Mackenzie has earned a net worth of over $2 million, as of early 2017, accumulated during her acting career which began in the mid-1990s.
Rosman’s family moved to Los Angeles, California, when she was two years old. She attended Valencia High School in Santa Clarita, matriculating in 2007. However, her acting career started when she was four years old, when her mother signed her up with a talent agency. She appeared in a number of commercials, such as for Nike shoes, Tuft’s Diapers and Hormel Chili Hotdog. In early 1996, at the age of six, Rosman was cast in The Warner Bros television drama series “7th Heaven”, the longest running family drama on television, portraying the lives of the Camden family. She played the character of Ruthie Camden, the youngest daughter of Eric and Annie, for 11 seasons, until the show’s cancellation in 2007. Her performance earned her a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Drama Series, and enabled her to achieve an astonishing popularity, plus significantly adding to her net worth.
In the meantime, she made her film debut, appearing in the 1998 romantic tragic comedy film “Gideon” as Molly MacLemore.
In 2008 Rosman landed the role of Bree in the biographical drama film “Proud American”, and the following year she appeared as Loreli in the horror thriller “The Tomb”, based on the works of H. P. Lovecraft, and then had the recurring role as Zoe in the teen drama television series “The Secret Life of the American Teenager”. She starred as Jill in the 2010 fantasy film “Fading of the Cries”, and in 2013 played Rowena Hambleton in the horror thriller “Nightcomer”, and Deb in “Beneath”, another horror. The same year she starred as Ava Reid in the supernatural horror television film “Ghost Shark”. Rosman’s involvement in both the big and small screen greatly contributed to her popularity, and to her wealth as well.
Most recently, she starred as Chelsea in the short film entitled “Ankh” in 2015. She is currently involved in another short film, “Love Will Tear Us Apart”, which is in post-production.
Speaking about her personal life, Rosman hasn’t married, and she tends to keep her private life away from public view, so sources don’t have any details regarding her current relationship status. On the other hand, her philanthropic acts have been written and spoken about in public. The actress has been involved in raising funds and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, as her sister Katelyn suffered from the disease and died in 2008, three years after she underwent a successful double lung transplant. Salmont also appeared in “7th Heaven”, as the show produced a special episode about the disease. Both sisters appeared in Teen People’s “20 Teens Who Will Change the World” list.
Rosman has also been the national honorary chairman for a school fund-raising organization called CureFinders, created to help in raising money and aid the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis. In addition, she has also been an active supporter and an ambassador of Childhelp Inc., focused on providing help to abused children.
The owner of several horses and numerous other animals, Rosman is also a competitive equestrian show jumper.
