MacKenzie Mauzy Wiki Biography
Born MacKenzie Grace Mauzy on the 14th October 1988, in Greensboro, North Carolina USA, she is a stage, television and film actress, best known to the world as The Seamstress in the Broadway musical “A Tale of Two Cities”, and as Rapunzel in the film “Into the Woods”, among many other differing appearances.
Have you ever wondered how rich MacKenzie Mauzy is, as of late 2017? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Mauzy’s net worth is over $3 million, earned largely through her successful career in the world of entertainment, active since the late ‘90s.
MacKenzie spent her childhood in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and from early years was thrown into show business; before making her screen debut, she appeared in a number of stage productions, such as “Snow White”, “Macbeth” and “A Christmas Carol”, while when she was 10 years old she was rewarded with the Anna Wentworth Award for “Best Child Actress”, for her portrayal of Annie Warbucks in the play “Annie”, at Showtimers Theatre in Roanoke, Virginia. Four years later she made her TV debut as Lizzie Spaulding in the soap opera “Guiding Light” (2002-2003). Despite making her way into television work, MacKenzie continued with her theatre career, and continues to make successful appearances until the present day.
In 2008 she portrayed The Seamstress in the musical “A Tale of Two Cities”, based on the novel by Charles Dickens, which is one of her most prominent theatre roles, then was the lead star in the musical “White Noise”, and portrayed Claire “Luz” Benedict in the musical “Giant”, among other appearances, which consistently increased her wealth.
Returning to her on-screen career, after portraying Lizzie Spaulding, MacKenzie was chosen for the role of Phoebe Forrester in another soap opera – “The Bold and the Beautiful” – and remained in the series for the next two years, appearing in over 220 episodes, which significantly increased her net worth. In the next several years, MacKenzie again became focused on her career in theatre, and didn’t have any notable screen roles until 2013, when she played Maggie Malloye in the drama film “Brother’s Keeper”, while a year later, she was Rapunzel in the adventure comedy “Into the Woods”, starring Anna Kendrick, Meryl Streep and Chris Pine, which added a substantial amount to her net worth, and won her and the cast the Satellite Award in the category Best Ensemble, Motion Picture. The same year, she was chosen for the role of Abigail in the TV crime-drama series “Forever” (2014-2015), which also contributed to her net worth.
Most recently, Mackenzie has starred in two television films, the crime-drama thriller “Manson’s Lost Girls” (2016), next to Eden Brolin and Grace Victoria Cox, and the thriller “Girl’s Night Out” (2017), with Jacob Blair and Hannah Emily Anderson. Her wealth is still rising.
Regarding her personal life, she was married to singer and actor John Arthur Greene from 2012 to 2014.
