Injuries began to take their toll, and from 2010 his participation was rather limited. However, on 1st September 2013, in a game against the Cincinnati Reds, he scored a 2,500 strike. He last played on the 29th September 2013 against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Overall, Helton is one of only four players in MLB history to have 400 total bases in consecutive seasons as well as one of only five players in MLB history to have at least 200 rebounds, 40 home runs, 100 RBIs, 100 runs, 100 extra base batting and 100 walks in a season. He also appeared in five All-Star games.
