Lionel Brockman Richie Jr., commonly known as Lionel Richie, is a well-known American musician, actor, singer and songwriter, as well as a record producer. To the public, Lionel Richie is known both as a member of a funk and soul band called “The Commodores”, and also as a successful solo artist. “The Commodores” was founded in 1968 by Lionel Richie, Thomas McClary and Milan Williams.
